Federal Access Board is devoted to accessibility for people with disabilities.
- Federal IT Accessibility Initiative Section 508
of the law applies to electronic and information technology purchases by the federal government.
- CAST is the Center for Applied Special Technology
which developed a free program recognized world-wide to analyze Web pages and
report errors that bar accessibility. The program is now maintained by a
commercial company which still provides a free single page analyzer. The
unlimited software is available for purchase.
