....The After Math....

The earth shook, the ground moved, the walls came tumbling down.
What started out as a little squeak, became a horrid sound.
That ancient sound they will remember was the coming of the beast.
Somehow, someday our children will have to restore the peace.
Well this crazy beast of burden was built with human hands.
Once unleashed, it soon destroyed all of mother nature's plans.
There really were no winners; the score was about tied.
Inside of the first hour, one hundred forty million died.
Mothers feeding babies, children in the park, their fathers in the factories. All locked forever in the dark.
Now you might ask yourself, how did this come to pass?
Would you believe we were fighting over oil and the price we paid for gas!
Well, the oil now flows freely, and so does acid rain, and for the few survivors, there's nothing left but pain.
